Dorothy Lockhart (born ca. 1919) taught at Langston High School and Bernice Pearl Lockhart (ca. 1908) taught at Dudley School, Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas. The two women walk down Central Avenue, past an auction house and toward the fountain. Dorothy and Bernice were the daughters of Edward S. Lockhart (1880-1941), founder and editor of the Hot Springs ECHO.
